About Adelle
I am an integrative counsellor offering a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space for you to explore whatever you’re facing.
My approach is grounded in the belief that each person’s experience is unique. I work collaboratively, listening carefully and adapting our sessions to support you in a way that feels meaningful and manageable.
Whether you’re coming with something specific or a general sense that things don’t feel quite right, you’re welcome to bring it here.
I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor (Level 5) and life coach with 20 years’ experience in mental health, disability management, and vocational rehabilitation. I also work therapeutically with children and young people.
I work in a trauma-informed way, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and other approaches to support individual needs rather than a fixed method of working.
My experience spans universities, hospital trusts, schools, and community services, allowing me to support both adults and children with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, and neurodiversity-related challenges.
I have completed specialist training in trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, and child counselling, and I maintain a safe, ethical, and developmentally appropriate approach in all my work.
My practice is grounded in empathy and a strong commitment to supporting individuals in a way that promotes growth, resilience, and wellbeing.
I am accredited by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), the National Institute of Disability Management and Research (NIDMAR), and I am a member of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA).
I I am also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and fully compliant with GDPR and data protection requirements.
